2nd ARTG 153 Field Trip MiresBall
My 2nd field trip of the Spring 2018 ARTG 153 Semester was to MiresBall, a graphic design firm specializing in identity branding and packaging. John Ball was our speaker, John is the Partner/Creative Director for MiresBall with 30 years in the industry with experience in working with Really big well name corporations, Intel, Shure and Ballast Point just to name a few.
one thing i really like was a presentation he made for a client where he used an example of the graphic design industry was "Love and Money' you may do projects or works for free for a company that's the (Love) aspect, love for creating new designs and just simply for the love of creations,
sometimes you do projects or works for pay, that's the (Money) aspect, sometimes you get both together you design your designs for both the Love and the Money aspect together. John and MiresBall specialize identity branding.
